My Story
Hi, I’m Shaton
1 Peter 4:10 “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”
I have always had a servants heart, however it wasn’t until I faced my own financial reality that I discovered how I could truly use my gifts and talents to serve as a catalyst by empowering individuals to take control of their financial futures.
My internal expression: The what and why I exist
I founded Living Smart Financial, LLC to follow my servant heart in helping people. I have a strong passion for wanting to help people achieve financial success and freedom by simply living smarter. You will see me light up when discussing personal finances by sharing all the proven financial strategies and techniques that I have learned to help clients achieve financial freedom. Whether it is creating a budget, building savings, eliminating debt, or growing generational wealth I am here to guide and support my clients every step of the way.
I have led a successful career for over 24 years managing the many demands of the corporate world in addition to managing the everyday hectic but fun and loving family life. Along life’s journey I experienced first hand the challenges of not understanding financial literacy. I quickly learned that the more I climbed the corporate ladder and the more money I made the more financial problems I faced. Shouldn’t the more we make equal less financial problems? Shouldn’t the more we earn make financial life easier? The answer to these questions is NO! In order to have financial freedom you need a holistic understanding of your entire financial picture and take a different approach and mindset to money.
It wasn’t until years after educating myself, taking the appropriate financial training, and making completely different financial moves that I really started living smarter financially. I have now set myself up for financial success and being in position to provide generational wealth for my family.
My own journey and struggles is what led me to start Living Smart Financial, I get to combine my true passion for people along with my financial acumen to help others avoid common pitfalls of finances and live financially smart!
Based in Fishers, IN area, I provide financial coaching worldwide.
